Helping You To Manage Your Tenancy

The Council and its partners are keen to make sure that you are fully aware of what is needed should you be offered accommodation. You can use the current benefit rates to ensure you are in receipt of all eligible benefits that you are entitled to and assess what type of accommodation you can afford.  It is important to note that you will be required to make arrangements for your removal costs, furniture and rent in advance as well as any other relevant costs.  Advice can be found on this website by completing the Housing Solutions Guide.

Welcome to Home Options Newport

If you are looking for affordable accommodation in Newport then this site will allow you to register for housing and view the properties that are available to either rent or part purchase in the Newport area.

We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised each week and you will be able to apply for these properties once your application has been accepted onto the Home Options Newport register.  In all instances you will be required to provide an advance payment towards the rent charged should you be offered accommodation and this will be included within each property advert.  Advice can be found within the Housing Solutions Guide on a range of issues around housing, support, employment and financial issues.
