Choosing
Properties are advertised each week. They are advertised in the following ways:
- Via the Properties and recent lets search panel on this website.
- In a newsletter (for individuals who are unable to access the internet)
The adverts tell you the landlord, location, size, rent and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you.
Where available a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided and you can access information about the local area and facilities.
A range of symbols are used to tell you information about the property. An explanation of each symbol can be found on each advert by hovering the cursor over the symbol. This will then display an explanation for a short period of time.
The advert also tells you if there are any special requirements that the applicant must meet, such as age requirements and which band will be given preference for the property. If you are not in the band stated you may still apply for the property providing it is suitable for your family size.
Making selections
You can bid for up to 4 properties each week. You can bid in any of the following ways:
- On this website
- By text to +447860015214
- By telephone on 03001113580
- Or in person by calling at one of the partners offices.
If you need any help with bidding or would like someone else to bid on your behalf you should let Home Options know and we will explain the other options available to you. Alternative, please view the Home Options Guide which provides further information and guidance on bidding.
You will only be able to bid on properties that you are eligible for and ‘bids’ will not be accepted after the close of the advert.
